Maintenance Serviceperson
At Wilson Homes, the Serviceperson is part of the Service and Warranty team, reporting to the State Service and Warranty Manager. The role focuses on completing or coordinating defect rectification work on homes in accordance with contractual requirements and quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Conduct inspections of new homes across the southern region of Hobart.
* Compile reports on identified defects.
* Communicate with clients to propose actions according to Service and Warranty guidelines.
* Assist with monitoring contractor progress.
* Follow up on outstanding works from trades and contractors.
* Attend to works identified by the Handover Supervisor.
* Ensure all general maintenance per the defect list is completed to high quality.
Qualifications and Experience
* Trade background, preferably in carpentry or a related field.
* Strong communication skills with clients and various teams.
* Ability to prioritize effectively while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
* Full driver's licence to operate a service van.
* Willingness to travel to and from jobs as scheduled.
* Positive attitude and ability to work independently or within a team.
