This is a full-time permanent opportunity.
The Manager Air Quality (Science) leads and manages the Air Quality Science team within the Air Quality Branch, delivering high-quality scientific assessments, investigations and advice on air quality issues across Western Australia. This includes the design, implementation and evaluation of air quality studies, data analysis, dispersion modelling, and preparation of technical reports to inform environmental policy, regulatory decisions and community awareness.
The role provides scientific leadership, mentoring and capability building for staff and works collaboratively with stakeholders including government agencies, industry and the community. The position supports the Department's regulatory, compliance, investigation, and emergency response functions in relation to air quality matters.
