Job Title: Environmental Health Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs aligned with local, state, and federal regulations.
About the Role:
* This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safe, compliant, and sustainable operation of data center facilities.
* The EHS Manager will oversee on-site EHS performance, including subcontractor activities, and identify opportunities for improvement through ongoing monitoring and analysis.
* This position is responsible for championing a culture of safety by taking ownership of initiatives that protect people and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and enforce EHS policies, procedures, and standards specific to data center environments.
* Serve as a technical resource to senior leadership, ensuring consistent application of EHS tools and alignment with regional strategic goals.
* Collaborate with EHS staff and operations teams to execute the regional EHS business plan and monitor key performance indicators.
* Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for critical infrastructure systems such as electrical, HVAC, and fire suppression.
* Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable regulatory standards.
* Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including planning and conducting drills for fire, chemical, and electrical incidents.
* Maintain accurate EHS documentation, reporting, and metrics for internal reviews and external audits.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in EHS management, preferably in a data center environment.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS programs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
