We're Hiring: Social Worker – NDIS Clients | Shepparton, VIC
TNK Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Social Worker to support NDIS participants in the Shepparton community.
This is a great opportunity for a Social Worker who is passionate about disability support, advocacy, and person-centred practice. This role is offered as contract work, starting with a few hours and building gradually as referrals and client needs grow.
For the right candidate, TNK Services may provide support, mentoring, and guidance to help you work towards becoming a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner.
About the role
You will work with NDIS participants, families, carers, and support networks to promote independence and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting NDIS participants with psychosocial, emotional, and social wellbeing needs
* Conducting assessments and developing person-centred support plans
* Providing advocacy and connecting clients with relevant community services
* Collaborating with families, carers, support coordinators, allied health professionals, and service providers
* Maintaining accurate case notes, reports, and documentation
* Supporting clients to build capacity, confidence, and choice and control
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
* A Bachelor or Master of Social Work qualification that is AASW registrable
* Strong understanding of person-centred and strengths-based practice
* Excellent communication, advocacy, and case management skills
* An interest in behaviour support practice, or willingness to develop in this area
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and driver's licence, or willingness to obtain
