With strong momentum in Queensland's transport sector, we're seeking an experienced leader to elevate our Roads & Highways capability, strengthen our client relationships, and drive strategic growth.

Based in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, or the Gold Coast, you will play a pivotal role in our QLD leadership team, supported by a high-performing Southeast Queensland network and connecting local delivery with global expertise.

You will:

Lead the growth, performance and delivery of our Roads & Highways portfolio in Queensland

Strengthen and expand trusted relationships with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) and key partners

Develop and execute market strategies aligned with regional and national priorities

Provide visible, values‐led leadership aligned to Mott MacDonald's PRIDE values

Drive collaboration across disciplines to deliver innovative, optimised engineering outcomes

Ensure the successful delivery of complex transport programs across multiple delivery frameworks, including design‐only, design and construct, and alliancing

Build and mentor a high‐performing, engaged team.

About You

You are a strategic, client‐focused leader with deep experience in the Queensland transport market and you will bring:

A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

RPEQ, Chartered, or equivalent professional accreditation

Demonstrated leadership in delivering major roads and highways projects in Queensland

Strong, established relationships with TMR and/or local government

A track record of growing client relationships and winning work

Proven experience leading and developing high‐performing teams

A collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to inclusion and diversity
