Customer Front Office Practitioner
At Thales, we are looking for a 12‐month fixed‐term contract Customer Front Office Practitioner to serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are met and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are maintained.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact, providing updates on orders and addressing delivery issues via phone, email, and face‐to‐face meetings.
* Handle spares enquiries, support requests, and service‐related communications, liaising with relevant teams.
* Facilitate the entire order process from demand receipt to invoicing, ensuring accurate data capture for release, shipping, and dispatch documentation.
* Collaborate with Back Office functions (Industry, Finance, Trade Compliance) to process customer orders accurately and share information across functions.
* Govern the release of new build, spares and repaired/maintenance items via appropriate business systems, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately.
* Resolve customer issues and complaints, coordinating with other functions to implement timely solutions.
* Analyze SLA adherence and generate reports to support strategic decision‐making.
* Drive continuous improvement through LEAN processes and maintain data accuracy in reporting tools.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years of office‐based transaction experience with investigative and support responsibilities.
* Strong organisational and communication skills at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver tasks ensuring on‐time customer delivery.
* Experience with Oracle or equivalent ERP system.

* Position is a 12‐month fixed term contract.
* Requires Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
