EPIS - Cook (East Pilbara Independence Support)
EPIS is a leading provider in quality Aged Care and Respite Services in the Inland Pilbara and Western Desert.
We are seeking a full-time Cook for our East Pilbara Independence Support team in Newman. The primary responsibility of the Cook is to manage all aspects of food services within EPIS.
Key Duties
* Understand food choices for the elderly, including balanced nutrition and appropriate foods for clients.
* Develop monthly menus and organize shopping for all food supplies.
* Ensure the kitchen is clean and meets standards.
* Manage menus and recipes for all houses.
* Prepare and cook daily meals for clients and when required for client activities and functions.
* Provide professional and high-quality food services to clients, considering their food requirements, choices and preferences.
Requirements
* Experience working with Indigenous peoples in a community setting.
* Friendly, caring nature with a cheerful attitude.
* Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
* Current WA Driver's Licence.
* Current Police Clearance.
