About the Opportunity
We are seeking an Experienced Truck Driver – Heavy Haulage Operator for a Permanent Full‐Time opportunity, based out of our Picton warehouse. Working as part of our Transport team, this role is required to carry out the transportation of oversized and over‐mass loads, as well as general freight across our network. With numerous sites, based in Western Australia, as well as interstate, this is an exciting opportunity.
About You
* 3+ years experience in a similar role (50t & 150t Floats)
* Demonstrated understanding of legislative requirements (Fatigue Management & Load Restraint)
* Hold a valid Australian Drivers MC Licence
* Float and Platform experience (Highly Regarded but not essential)
* Tie Down Machinery experience
* Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well‐being of all employees
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Willingness to undertake a Commercial Drivers Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all required pre‐starts are carried out prior to daily commencement
* Ensure that all loads are adequately restrained (in accordance with legislation)
* Transport goods in a safe, efficient and timely manner as directed
* Comply with fatigue management guidelines
* Ensure that all appropriate paperwork is completed
* Report and faults or hazards to the appropriate personnel
