The Role
Based at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH), you will deliver a high standard of food service to hospital patients, staff and patrons in accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Responsibilities
* Assist in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, production, service, plating, meal distribution, ware‐washing and cleaning of the hospital service areas and in accordance with relevant codes of practice.
* Actively participate in and contribute to the organisation's Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes, including development and implementation of safety systems, improvement initiatives, safeguarding practices for vulnerable people and related training.
* Responsible for cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment, utensils, floors and walls directed by supervisors and in accordance with relevant guidelines.
Shift Details
Permanent part‐time shift worker (fully rotational), 28 hours per fortnight. Hours are flexible and will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: $57,130 – $62,486 per annum (pro‐rate) plus a 12% superannuation contribution.
