Based in Adelaide, we are seeking a proactive IT Desktop Administrator to support the day-to-day delivery of IT services across multiple sites. This role is responsible for ensuring users have reliable access to hardware, software, and systems, while providing timely technical support and resolving incidents for both on-site and off-network users. You will configure, deploy, and troubleshoot desktop environments, support Microsoft and mobile technologies, and collaborate with regional and global IT teams to maintain efficient and reliable IT operations.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Installing, configuring, and supporting specialised drilling software for end users
* Delivering IT support across multiple sites and field employees, including occasional travel
* Managing incidents and service requests in line with SLAs via ticketing system
* Supporting Microsoft Windows environments (current and recent OS versions)
* Supporting M365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive
* Supporting mobile devices across iOS and Android platforms
* Configuring, testing, deploying, and upgrading desktop and laptop systems
* Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
* Collaborating with regional and global IT teams
* Documenting systems, configurations, and business processes
* Providing internal customer support and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
A few other things we're looking for:
* Proven experience (3+ years) in desktop support for Microsoft environments
* Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, Windows OS, and M365
* Experience with PC administration including imaging, asset management, and troubleshooting
* Experience supporting mobile device connectivity (iOS, Android)
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites
* Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent practical experience
