About us
The Police, Fines and Crime Prevention group enhances community safety and wellbeing through public policy, governance and legislative advice and reform, provision of registry and adoption services, and worker screening services, community crime prevention advice and programs, efforts to counter violent extremism and management of the end-to-end infringements system and enforcement activities.
About the role
**In this role, you will**:
- provide leadership and professional direction to a team of senior Business Analysts, Developers and Technical Support staff within the Application Analysis, Design & Development team
- lead and manage resources in order to plan, estimate and carry out programmes of work to time, budget and quality targets and in accordance with appropriate standards
About you
- technical architecture knowledge such as SQL Server,.Net, programming concepts (advantageous)
- comprehensive knowledge of, and experience with, ICT development life cycle methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
- excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, with the ability to drive a culture of quality by design where quality practices are embedded in the service and solution delivery process.
