About the Role
Production-based opportunities in a market-leading food manufacturing setting.
Shift work across a 7-day roster inclusive of day / afternoon / night shifts.
Location: Devonport, commencing November ****.
Responsibilities
Inspect incoming raw material
Operate fixed plant processing and high-speed packaging equipment safely
Clean and sanitize production lines
Accurately complete daily shift logs and system entries
Forklift operations (for licensed candidates)
Adhere to GMP and food safety practices
Contribute to continuous improvement (CI) processes
Additional forklift duties (if licensed):
Transport finished goods between areas
Use fork-mounted RF systems and radio communications
Operate within cold store/freezer
Perform pre-start checks
Refuel and service fuel-powered forklifts and charge electric forklift batteries
Qualifications & Skills
100 % commitment to safety
Willingness to work a variety of 8-hour shifts across a 7-day roster
Current forklift licence with experience (mandatory for forklift duties)
Ability to follow standard operating procedures
Manufacturing or mechanical background advantageous
High attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication; time-management skills
Team player with positive communication
Positive aptitude testing
Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical assessment (drug & alcohol screening)
