Job Description

As State Operations Coordinator, you’ll manage day-to-day field operations and project rollouts, ensuring safe, compliant meter installations that meet business goals. You’ll collaborate with State Field Coordinators and stakeholders to drive performance and resolve operational challenges.

Your Key Accountabilities

- Oversee FSP deployment under the Legacy Meter Replacement Plan; manage quotas and mitigate MIT risks
- Monitor volumes, forecast demand, and align retailer needs with FSP capacity
- Resolve customer and ombudsman escalations promptly
- Track and address UTC/UTA trends in real time
- Lead deployment planning, translating budgets into delivery plans
- Support technician onboarding and ramp‑up for target achievement
- Manage safety escalations and WHS reporting
- Identify and mitigate operational risks; pivot resources as needed
- Drive automation initiatives within field operations
- Provide guidance to supervisors and technicians; resolve in‑field issues
- Collaborate with retailers and technical teams for timely project completion
- Validate FSP claims for invoicing
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, retailers, and FSPs

Qualifications

- Electrical/industry experience preferred
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); Power BI expertise highly beneficial
- Skilled in report generation and data analysis
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and meet ambitious goals in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong problem‑solving, risk management, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication – clear and direct
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and cooperative
- Positive attitude, team‑focused, and open to learning
- Methodical approach with influencing and negotiation skills
