About This Opportunity
Mrs Claus Christmas Kingdom is looking for experienced retail shop assistants to join our small family‐owned, vibrant, fast‐paced retail environment. The role starts immediately for the Christmas in July period and may continue into the 2026 season for the right candidate.

* Flexible hours: 20–30 hours per week, minimum 3–4 days; Wednesday–Saturday 10:00–4:00 pm (no after‐hours)
* Casual employment paid in accordance with the retail award
* Must be available Saturdays; flexibility essential
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years retail sales experience in a small, very busy retail shop environment
* Retail sales experience required – this is not for students or recent school leavers
* Australian work rights are required
* Experienced, committed and willing to work in a busy retail environment
Key Skills
* Bright, bubbly and friendly personality
* Excellent listening and communication skills
* Comfortable engaging with customers at all levels
* Good mathematics and counting abilities
* Ability to move quickly and efficiently
* Customer‐service focus – willing to go the extra mile
* Problem‐solving skills
* Quick thinking in a busy retail environment
