About Our Client
Our client is a well-established provider of maintenance, shutdown, fabrication, and industrial support services to the mining and resources sector across the Mackay region. What You Will Be Doing
As a Payroll Officer, your responsibilities are:
* Processing weekly payroll for 200300 employees
* Managing payroll data entry, timesheets, and payroll compliance
* Assisting with payroll queries and employee records
* Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing
* Supporting the accounts and administration team with general duties as required
* Working across a 38.5-hour work week
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Minimum 5 years experience in a high-volume payroll position
* Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance requirements
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
* Strong communication and computer skills
* Ability to commence in the role from the 8th of June
