Baseline Training is seeking experienced and qualified Trainer & Assessors to join our growing team on a contractor basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for passionate trainers to deliver high-quality, face-to-face training programs from our purpose-built training facility in Pinkenba and at client locations throughout Queensland and New South Wales.
About the Role
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training programs, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with national training standards and legislation. You will also support the ongoing development and improvement of training resources and assessment tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver face-to-face training and assessment programs
* Prepare training materials, resources, and equipment
* Conduct competency-based assessments
* Maintain accurate student and compliance records
* Develop and improve assessment tools and learning resources
* Participate in validation, moderation, audits, and quality assurance activities
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Support day-to-day training administration requirements
Trainer & Assessor Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110)
* Full Australian working rights
Industry Qualifications (one or more)
* CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations
* PUA20622 Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
* PUA30622 Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
* RII30719 Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
Required Units of Competency
* HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
* HLTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
* HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
* HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid
* HLTAID015 – Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy
Process Manufacturing / High-Risk Units
* MSMPER200 – Work in Accordance with an Issued Permit
* MSMWHS201 – Conduct Hazard Analysis
* MSMPER205 – Enter Confined Space
* MSMWHS216 – Operate Breathing Apparatus
* MSMWHS217 – Gas Test Atmosphere
* MSMPER300 – Issue Work Permits
Contractor Requirements
* Active ABN
* Public Liability Insurance ($5M minimum)
* Professional Indemnity Insurance ($1M minimum)
* Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
* Workers Compensation Insurance (where applicable)
About You
You will bring:
* Minimum 5 years' experience within the VET sector
* Strong understanding of RTO compliance and industry standards
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems
* A professional, safety-focused, and collaborative approach
