Doral Mineral SandsPty Ltd (DMS), is a well established mineral sands producer. Doral has a long-standing reputation for safe, responsible and sustainable operations. Doral has mineral sands mining and processing facilities near Bunbury, Busselton and Mandurah in the Southwest of WA. As part of the company's growth strategy, we have acquired Coburn Mineral Sands Project which is situated 240km North of Geraldton in the mid‐west region.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Accounts Payable role, based at our Keysbrook operation, presents an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy a challenge and being an integral member of a high performing and motivated team in this part‐time role.
Key Responsibilities
* Process credit applications and create new suppliers in the accounting system, carrying out credit checks when necessary.
* Receive, code, and input supplier invoices and credit notes into the accounting system with high accuracy.
* Verify invoices against purchase orders (POs) and goods received notes (GRNs) to confirm accurate delivery and pricing.
* Prepare weekly or fortnightly electronic payment runs (EFT) in accordance with supplier payment terms.
* Reconcile supplier statements against the general ledger to identify outstanding items.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve billing errors or missing authorisations.
* Process credit card statements.
* Carry out month‐end bank reconciliations and enter bank entries into the system.
* Assist the wider finance team with month‐end accruals, ledger closures, and financial reporting.
* Other administration duties to support the general running of the site office.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation including operations.
Strong computer literacy across the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word).
2‐3 years' experience in a similar role within the resources, mining or heavy industry sector.
Strong organisational skills.
Proficiency in accounting software or systems such as Pronto – highly desirable.
High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem‐solving skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to support both finance and administration activities.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage work autonomously and as part of a broader team.
