At our Western Haematology and Oncology Clinics in West Perth, we are currently recruiting for multiple opportunities across Monday to Friday, and welcome applications for both full-time and part-time positions. You’ll support our passionate and dynamic team in delivering high-quality cancer care to the local community. In this patient-focused role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences.
What’s Involved:
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated administrators, ideally with experience in haematology or oncology administration. In this collaborative environment, responsibilities will include:
- Patient liaison: Welcoming patients, answering calls, managing correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
- Patient administration: Billing, accurate data entry in our e-management system (Episoft and Genie), and managing records.
- Liaising with hospitals, specialists, and allied health professionals.
- Supporting doctors, coordinating with nurses, and assisting allied health staff in delivering patient care.
Who You Are:
- Demonstrated ability to work with empathy and compassion.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
- Experience in a hospital or day hospital setting is desirable.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
- Essential: Specialist practice experience and proficiency in Genie software.
What You Bring:
- Experience in a medical practice or haematology / oncology setting is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, and Private Health Insurance.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use multiple software systems and proficient in Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders.
