About the Role
The successful candidate will initially teach Food Technology across a 0.4 load, currently scheduled across Tuesdays and Fridays. There is flexibility to increase the time fraction for the right candidate depending on additional teaching methods and school needs.
This role will involve both classroom teaching and curriculum planning responsibilities, making it ideal for a teacher who enjoys contributing to program development and establishing engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
* Develop and document curriculum and assessment materials for junior secondary students.
* Create a positive and structured classroom environment that supports student engagement and learning.
* Provide timely feedback and assessment to support student growth.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Food Technology program.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support whole‐school teaching and learning initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Education and relevant teaching methods.
* Current or pending Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
* Demonstrated experience teaching Food Technology/Food Studies.
* Strong curriculum planning and organisational skills.
* Confidence working collaboratively within a developing program area.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
