Hire Controller / Customer Service Officer - Candidate ideally located between Ipswich, Rocklea, South Brisbane & Logan areas

Flexihire is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team of Hire Controllers in South East Queensland. You will be part of a growing team with local support branches and a total of 17 branches across the state. Your role will involve supporting hire controlling responsibilities in branches throughout Southern Brisbane, including Loganholme, Rocklea, and other locations as needed.
About the role:
* Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external clients.
* Generate quotes, provide pricing and availability, and book hire equipment.
* Support a culture of upselling at every opportunity.
* Coordinate deliveries and pickups.
* Learn about machinery ranging from small hand tools to large compaction rollers and more.
* Coordinate, assist, and liaise with mechanics in the workshop.

Key skills required:
* Previous hire controlling or industry experience highly regarded.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions, both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency with IT applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong time management skills, with the ability to plan and reschedule as needed.
* Ability to run reports, audit documentation, and follow procedures.
