We are currently recruiting for an experienced Study Manager to join our team based in Newcastle.

About The Role
- Managing existing client relationships to maximise business opportunity for Ausenco.
- Seek out current opportunities through networking, referrals and market research.
- Develop a healthy opportunity pipeline for the base metals, gold and minerals mining market.
- Maintain a consistently high quality of studies output by planning, coordinating, managing resources, technical quality, and study progress.
- Communicate with clients and professional colleagues.
- Formulate effective business cases through bringing together technical knowledge and commercial concepts.
- Comply with all of Ausenco Minerals corporate policies and procedures by adopting Ausenco Quality Assurance and Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies, procedures and requirements.
About You
- 10-15+ years’ experience in the mining industry with strong base metals, gold and minerals processing experience.
- A registered Professional Engineer is desirable.
- Extensive experience in the development, delivery and operation of mining or mineral processing studies and projects.
- Previously worked on a client/owner’s team or been a study manager, area manager, engineering manager or lead engineer on several projects/studies.
- An established contact network within designated market (base metals and minerals) would be a major advantage.
- Excellent written technical and oral communications skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Experience with JORC code and NI 43-101 reports would be an asset.
- Willingness to travel when required.
