Our practice provides a versatile work environment with ongoing training and support.As a senior practice nurse you will be able to provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients through:Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans & Health AssessmentsImmunisations & VaccinationsECG's & SpirometryWound care/dressingsAssisting doctors with minor surgical proceduresDaily co-ordination of the treatment room, stock control and medical equipment maintenanceImplementing and practicing infection controlIdentifying & contributing to the development of our patient educational needs.Essential Criteria:Current unrestricted Nurses Registration with AHPRAStrong clinical backgroundHighly organised with excellent time management skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamExcellent interpersonal & communication skillsCaring & collaborative approach to patient careProven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.This position will be largely based on Chronic Condition Management.
This is essential in primary health care, focusing on the management and prevention of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory conditions.
We expect this position to work in closely with management for consultation on new nurse led clinic ideas, policy and procedures written, meeting key performance indicators, motivating and ensuring general practitioners are motivated and committed to improve patients lives and promote better health outcomes.This position would be permanent part time 2 to 3 days a week plus the ability to cover personal and annual leave.Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, CasualPay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 14 per weekExperience: General practice: 3 years (Required)Work Authorisation: Australia (Required)Work Location: In person
