The Right Profile
Sitting at the intersection of product, marketing, and the SelfWealth community, the Product Marketing Manager role will drive engagement and adoption among existing and prospective investors in Australia. This is a hands‐on B2C marketing role for a creative, customer‐focused marketer who can turn complex financial ideas into clear, engaging, and actionable content. You don't need to be an investment strategist; your superpower is helping everyday investors understand how our product works and why it matters, in plain language.
You will lead go‐to‐market planning for new products and features, manage product content across our website, and own our voice within Australia's most active investor communities. Your work will support both acquisition and engagement, creating campaigns and creative assets that help convert interest into action.
Key Responsibilities
* Go‐To‐Market (GTM) Strategy: Lead cross‐functional planning and execution for new product and feature launches with defined success metrics.
* Positioning and Messaging: Create compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks that differentiate the brand for everyday investors.
* Customer & Market Insights: Synthesise user feedback and competitive analysis to drive product roadmap decisions and growth opportunities.
* Acquisition and Campaign Strategy: Design feature‐led acquisition campaigns and partner with performance teams to optimise ROAS.
* Cross‐Functional Enablement: Provide product teams and customer‐facing departments with the content and tools needed for consistent conversion.
Minimum Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in B2C digital product marketing, ideally in fintech, financial services, or consumer tech.
* Strong copywriting skills and ability to create content that simplifies complex product ideas.
* Proven experience managing community engagement in social platforms.
* Experience leading product marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
Preferred Qualifications
* Comfortable working across CRM, web, and social, with a focus on acquisition and engagement.
* Fintech or brokerage background: Prior experience in the Australian fintech landscape or an existing passion for investing and the stock market.
