Join us as a Registered Aboriginal Health Practitioner and play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality clinical care, health promotion, and education within a supportive multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide culturally sensitive primary healthcare services, helping to improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
About the practice
We are an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service that has been delivering comprehensive, culturally safe primary health care to the Broome community for over 45 years.
Experience and qualifications required
To be considered for this role, please submit a cover letter and resume. Your cover letter must address the Selection Criteria below:
* Possession of a Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
* A minimum of one year's practical experience as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated knowledge in the principles of primary health and associated skills for assessments, planning, and implementing healthcare strategies.
