What you'll be doing:
Developing and implementing the Hotspots program workshops in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and the public. You will act as a subject matter expert, presenting advice on planning for managing and protecting the environment in relation to bushfires, hazard reduction and other relative matters.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

* A Diploma or relevant background in Ecology/Fire Ecology, Fire Management or Environmental Science/Environmental Management
* A training or background in community engagement/public speaking
* A working knowledge of the NSW RFS Guardian, and Mapdesk programs
* Current RFS Certificate Issuing Officer certification
* Burn Planner certification
