We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales & Inventory Controller to join our team. You will play a critical role in promoting our products and services, supporting sales goals, and ensuring seamless inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the sales team with quotes, purchase orders, sales orders, and works orders preparation, Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products.
* Process customer orders including picking, paperwork, dispatch preparation, and managing back orders
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing
* Manage branch inventory including purchasing, stock monitoring, and stock transfers between branches
* Prepare and manage stocktakes, including the annual stocktake
* Manage customer enquiries and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
What are we looking for:
* Previous experience in sales or inventory operations.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a timely and professional approach.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
* Positive attitude towards learning and adaptability to change
* Current clean driver's licence essential.
