The Opportunity
ROUSSOS is partnering with a highly respected Tier 1 national contractor to appoint a Senior Project Manager within their growing Adelaide division.
With nearly five decades of national delivery experience, this contractor has a reputation for executing technically complex, design‑led projects across commercial, residential, mixed‑use, institutional and government sectors. Their South Australian pipeline continues to strengthen, with significant secured work across the next several years.
Projects range from large‑scale multi‑residential developments, to commercial and mixed‑use buildings, to community assets delivered for government and key institutional clients. These projects are architecturally ambitious, detail‑oriented, and have long‑term positive impact on the communities they serve.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will take full leadership responsibility for delivering major projects valued up to $100M.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading overall project planning and design coordination from early phases through delivery
- Managing procurement strategies, contract administration, commercial performance and risk
- Providing strong leadership to teams including PMs, Site Managers, CAs and Engineers
- Driving program outcomes, sequencing, quality control and safety compliance
- Navigating complex design and engineering issues with confidence and authority
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, government stakeholders, consultants and subcontractors
- Ensuring strict adherence to Tier 1 governance, reporting and project controls
- Mentoring emerging leaders and contributing to broader team capability development
This is a key leadership role with significant influence across people, process and project outcomes.

You will ideally bring:
- 8–12+ years experience delivering major commercial or multi‑residential projects over $50M
- Demonstrated leadership of large delivery teams on complex builds
- Strong experience across D&C; delivery, design coordination and consultant engagement
- High‑level commercial acumen with strong contract awareness and financial oversight
- A leadership style centred on communication, clarity, stability and collaboration
- Comfort operating within strong systems, processes and governance frameworks
- Proven ability to build trust with clients, authorities and internal teams
