Housing Officer – Permanent (Full Time, 35 hrs/week)
Location: Rosny Park, Tasmania
Salary: $85,994 + Super + Salary Packaging
Key Responsibilities
* Arrange for the rapid lease of vacant properties.
* Assist and support tenants in maintaining their tenancies.
* Conduct property inspections and complete required reports.
* Prepare court/tribunal documents as required.
* Maintain tenancy and property records to meet organisational and regulatory standards.
* Track KPIs across a variety of performance areas.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that connect tenants to additional support services.
Requirements for Success
* Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable client groups.
* Strong people skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
* Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act preferred.
* Previous experience in the housing or social welfare sector preferred.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products for reporting.
* Strong administrative experience and interpersonal skills.
* Current Driver's Licence and valid WWVP.
* Commitment to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks and WWVP before starting work.
