Become the face of safety and customer care. You'll play a key role in ensuring every person who enters the centre feels safe, welcome, and supported.
What You'll Do
This is more than a security role, it's a role with purpose and impact.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Providing a strong security presence with exceptional customer service
* Supporting tenants, guests, and visitors professionally
* Conducting foot patrols and proactive safety awareness
* Managing access control and responding to client requests
* Responding confidently to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
* Building positive relationships with retail partners and centre management
* Completing clear incident reports and daily logs using digital systems
* Maintaining a high standard of presentation and communication
To be considered for an opportunity with Assetlink Services, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:
* Current NSW Full Security Licence, including crowd control where applicable
* Assisting contractors with sign-in and compliance
* Managing CCTV cameras, tracking targets and identifying potential persons of interest
* Respond to alarms inside the control room and effectively manage the staff during an emergency
* Use of computer to lock and unlock doors across the centre
* Answer phone calls from customers and tenants and respond accordingly to issues they raise
* Apply First Aid Certificate
* Provide a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
* Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential
* Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
* The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery which comes under your control
* The ability to complete reports using various platforms
* Excellent presentation, well-groomed and corporate-appropriate
* High-level problem-solving skills
* Ability to respond to emergency situations
* Valid work rights in Australia
Retail security experience is an advantage, but not essential.
