Project Manager
PJL Group is a specialised Underground Hard Rock Maintenance and Asset Supply Company seeking an experienced Project Manager for the recommencement of mining and production at the Hillgrove Mine.
Location: Armidale, NSW – the Northern Tablelands region provides a balance of lifestyle and career opportunity. The Hillgrove Antimony and Gold Project is approximately 23km from Armidale.
Day Shift Roster – Residential, DIDO or FIFO available.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and manage turnkey contractual services relating to supply and maintenance, and lifecycle management of underground production and haulage equipment at the client's brownfield mining site.
* Lead a team of up to 30 people, communicating with all site personnel, leaders, and trades personnel.
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, operational performance targets, safety standards, and financial outcomes while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
* Manage all aspects of the turnkey contract, monitoring performance against service levels, KPIs and targets.
* Oversee mobilisation, commissioning, and ongoing operation of production equipment.
* Implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies and monitor equipment reliability, availability and utilisation.
* Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally.
Required Experience and Skills
* Experience as a Project Manager within the mining industry.
* Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to interpret and enforce regulatory and safety standards in a mining environment.
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills.
* Capability to lead teams and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
