About the role We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate, vibrant and engaged team, working across Albury Base and Wodonga Base Hospital laboratories and will be responsible for: Performing all routine histological procedures from point of specimen reception to execution of results for Pathological diagnosis, including specimen dissection Participate in attending FNA Procedures Recording of results in line with protocols Maintaining current scientific knowledge Participation in both routine and audit related Quality Assurance activities Contributing to continuous improvement and the development of new assays as required Participating in training staff Liaising with internal and/ or external stakeholders (referring practitioners) regarding test results or referrals as necessary Compliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Workplace Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance Processes.
