As a Lead Product Designer, you will help define and deliver the experience vision for our Digital Banking platform.
Working within the Research and Design team, you'll shape exceptional financial experiences for Macquarie's customers, influencing the future of digital banking in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
Ensure quality and consistency of design output across multiple Agile squads within the Personal Banking platform.
Partner with the Director of Product to shape and deliver the Digital Banking vision, driving exceptional user experiences.
Collaborate with fellow designers to maintain high standards and a cohesive design language throughout the ecosystem.
Work closely with cross-functional teams—Design Directors, Product Directors, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Tech Leads, and Engineers—to optimize processes and foster effective collaboration within Agile squads.
Directly contribute to delivering outstanding customer experiences and support Macquarie's ambition to become the #1 Digital Bank.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in UX and UI or Product Design, with a proven track record of leading design projects to successful outcomes.
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user experience design, visual design, and design thinking methodologies.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, most importantly Figma.
Experience conducting generative and evaluative research for digital products.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationalise design decisions to stakeholders.
