Job Description
Role: Fixed Plant Fitter
Location: Weld Range, Western Australia FIFO ex-Perth
Roster: 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Off – 12‐hour shifts
Type: Fulltime, Permanent
We are seeking Mechanical Fitters to join the team responsible for maintaining a new fixed plant crusher in the Weld Range, in WA's Mid‐West region. You will play an important role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and safe operation of crushing equipment and associated fixed plant infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a newly established asset and become part of the inaugural team driving the operation forward.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned, breakdown and preventative maintenance on fixed plant crushing equipment and associated infrastructure.
* Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical faults on crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps and ancillary equipment.
* Complete routine condition monitoring and inspections to identify potential equipment issues.
* Work collaboratively with operations personnel to maximise plant reliability and production performance.
Required Skills and Experience
* Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate.
* Previous experience carrying out maintenance on fixed plant crushing equipment and associated infrastructure.
* Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
