This leading player in the Education sector is embarking on a multi year ERP program of work implementing Workday and as such, you will be responsible for the planning, directing and leading the development and implementation of this.
Reporting into the COO and leading a team of 50, you will coordinate the overall program delivery, working closely with internal and external stakeholders and will include program governance, objectives and benefits, and reporting on the program health. In doing so, the result will be to deliver an integrated and standardised suite of business processes and applications, that will see significant impacts to the processes owned by the People and Finance Units in particular.
In this role you will:
* Creating a program environment which results in exceptional outcomes underpinned by best practice project/program delivery.
* Working with senior program stakeholders to oversee identification and definition of program scope.
* Working closely with product SMEs, internal and external stakeholders.
* Lead the day-to-day management and governance of the program to ensure outcomes are understood and aligned, particularly with the UPMO.
* Responsible for finance, scheduling, risk and project governance.
* Build and manage strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to enable effective and collaborative integration.
* Actively motivating, developing, coaching and engaging team members to drive results and create a high performing team.
You will bring to the role:
* 10+ years' experience in Workday, or similar cloud product program delivery roles.
* Extremely solid experience in managing large complex transformation programs.
* Experience in managing program budgets, allocating resources efficiently, and optimising resource utilisation.
* Extensive experience working across both People and Finance deployments.
* Extensive leadership experience working in large teams within complex organisational environments, and in leading highly strategic and transformational business initiatives.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver detailed reports, briefings and presentations on projects under delivery to a variety of audiences.
* Superior knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and governance.
