This role is pivotal to the smooth delivery of high-quality community care. You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective rosters that ensure our clients receive consistent, reliable support while our workforce feels informed and supported.

About the Role

As Scheduler, you will coordinate staffing across a 7-day roster, ensuring continuity of care and operational efficiency. You will work closely with operations and clinical teams to balance client needs, workforce availability, compliance requirements, and award conditions.

This is a role that requires attention to detail, forward planning, and the confidence to make timely decisions.

You will be available to cover the following shift patterns:

Key Responsibilities
* Develop, manage and maintain accurate community-based staff rosters
* Coordinate shift coverage, including urgent and short-notice changes
* Review and reconcile timesheets, service tasks and documentation
* Support payroll and invoicing processes through accurate roster administration
* Manage staff leave requests and ensure appropriate backfill arrangements
* Use roster invitation systems to efficiently fill vacant shiftsLiaise with clients regarding schedule changes where required
* Coordinate training schedules to prevent roster conflicts
* Support onboarding to facilitate timely recruitment to shift-ready processes
* Provide relief coverage for the other Schedulers during periods of leave across a 7-day roster.
What You'll Bring
* Essential experience in rostering, workforce scheduling or coordination
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Confidence navigating scheduling software and digital systems
* Strong communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally
* A proactive, calm and determined solutions-focused approach
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy coordination team
* Strong working knowledge of the SCHADS and Nurses Award would be advantageous
* Preferred, but not essential, experience with leading or coordinating a small team
