The opportunity
We are looking for a full‐time Dispatch Associate/ Warehouse Operator to join our team based in Perth. This role is responsible for overseeing and participating in the receiving, organising, storing, and distributing of products within the warehouse.
You will:
* Receive goods at the loading/receiving dock
* Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
* Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
* Assist stock takes and other inventory initiatives
* Move and rearrange stock, and where necessary with appropriate equipment provided
* Maintain accurate inventory records of products received and dispatched
* Maintain cleanliness of the site and ensure that goods don't get damaged
About You:
* Forklift licence will be highly regarded
* Warehouse experience, particularly cold chain and pharmaceutical, will be highly regarded
* Basic Excel and Word computer skills
* Basic level of numeracy, verbal and literacy skills
* Ability to lift up to 20 kg, with typical weights between 2 kg and 10 kg
* Ability to work in a cold environment of –4 degrees Celsius
* Ability to safely handle dangerous goods
Successful applicants will be required to consent to us carrying out a National Police check. However, the existence of a criminal record will not automatically bar applicants from being successful.
