Project Execution Specialist
As a Project Execution Specialist, you will support the delivery of brownfield and sustaining capital projects across site. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecycle from scoping, design review, procurement, construction, commissioning to close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Senior Project Engineer in the delivery of brownfield and sustaining capital projects
* Monitor and report on project progress through weekly updates, status reports, and KPI dashboards
* Ensure all works are completed in compliance with Fortescue standards, Australian codes, and statutory requirements
* Participate in site walkdowns, design validation, and commissioning activities
* Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all HSE procedures and JHAs
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 4+ years fixed plant or heavy industry experience with a minimum of 2 years in a projects role Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or related discipline) Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including piping, pumps, conveyors, chutes, and structural steel High level of written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder engagement experience Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive attitude Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, Mines legislations and regulations Knowledge of computer management systems, including SAP and MS Project
