Senior Sales Specialist – Storage
Onsite role, primarily based at an HPE office. Responsible for driving sales of storage products and solutions across assigned territory or accounts.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute pursuit plans, build and manage the storage sales pipeline.
* Identify new opportunities, expand existing accounts and negotiate and close deals.
* Provide technical expertise and support to Account Managers, participating in client engagements up to C-level.
* Collaborate with Presales, channel partners and internal stakeholders to maintain pipeline hygiene and account plans.
* Assess solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective to qualify opportunities.
* Lead storage marketing campaigns, ensuring successful launches and campaign momentum.
* Build consultative relationships with clients, articulating ROI, TCO and business value of HPE solutions.
* Coordinate sales activities, including proposal development, negotiations and deal closures.
* Engage partners, provide enablement and co‐sell to end‐users in designated regions.
* Use internal sales tools to track pipeline and account planning.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (University equivalent) preferred.
* 4–8+ years of experience in B2B sales, with strong track record of exceeding quota.
* Experience selling storage or related technology solutions.
* Strong sales acumen, hunter mentality and ability to navigate complex, multi‐channel environments.
* Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
* Ability to assess solution feasibility and articulate technical and commercial benefits.
* Knowledge of digital and modern selling methods, industry trends and competitive landscape.
* Leadership ability to mentor peers and influence cross‐functional teams.
* Advanced financial acumen and proficiency with sales tools.
