About the Role

The Project BIM Manager is a project-facing role responsible for leading the effective delivery of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across one or more projects. Working closely with project teams, consultants and delivery partners, the role ensures that BIM processes, standards and workflows are implemented consistently and efficiently to support high-quality design and delivery outcomes.

Sitting within the Design Technology function, the Project BIM Manager bridges project requirements with studio and global standards. The role ensures alignment between model-based delivery, project requirements and broader digital delivery objectives.

Key Areas of Responsibility

* Lead BIM delivery across nominated projects, aligning with project, contractual and organisational standards.
* Provide at-desk support, troubleshooting and workflow optimisation.
* Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans, protocols and workflows that are practical and easy for project teams to adopt.
* Set up and manage project models, including structures, coordinates, data exchange and federation.
* Where required, facilitate coordination and clash detection, including issue tracking and resolution with internal and external teams.
* Ensure BIM model quality, including accuracy, consistency and compliance.
* Train and support project teams.
* Collaborate with consultants and contractors to align BIM approaches and resolve issues.
* Capture key workflows and lessons learned, contributing to ongoing improvement of standards and tools.
* When required, provide appropriate modelling and technical support to project teams.

About You

You are an experienced BIM professional with a strong track record of delivering coordinated, high-quality models on complex projects. You are comfortable working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to resolve challenges and improve delivery outcomes. You bring a practical, problem‐solving mindset and are confident guiding teams in the effective use of BIM tools and workflows.

You communicate clearly and can translate complex technical concepts into accessible guidance for design teams. You are proactive in identifying risks and opportunities, and you balance attention to detail with an understanding of broader project objectives. You are collaborative, adaptable and motivated to continuously improve how digital delivery supports design and construction.

Required Experience and Skills

* 8+ years of experience in BIM delivery roles
* Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
* Strong understanding of BIM coordination workflows
* Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (Forma), Aconex, or similar common data environments
* Experience in model coordination, federation and clash detection
* Understanding of BIM standards, including ISO 19650 principles
* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
* Strong understanding of QA processes for model and data management
* Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper for interoperability and workflow development is desirable.
* Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to support and guide project teams in BIM workflows.
