IEPro are working with a respected civil contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to support delivery of infrastructure projects across Queensland.
This opportunity sits within a business with a strong pipeline of civil construction work and a reputation for delivering complex projects safely and efficiently. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of project delivery while working closely with experienced operational and leadership teams.
This position would suit either an established Project Manager or a Senior Project Engineer ready to take the next step in their career.
The Opportunity
As Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering civil infrastructure projects while ensuring safety, quality, commercial, and programme objectives are achieved.
You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior leadership to drive successful project outcomes across a range of infrastructure works.
The Role
* Lead project delivery from planning through to completion
* Manage project programmes, budgets, and resource allocation
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
* Review drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies
* Monitor commercial performance, forecasting, and project reporting
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements
* Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
* Mentor engineers and site personnel to support project success
About You
To succeed, you will bring:
* Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager within civil construction
* Strong background delivering infrastructure projects in Australia
* Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and commercial outcomes
* Strong planning and coordination capability
* Ability to lead project teams and drive delivery outcomes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A practical and solutions-focused leadership style
