About the Role
This role utilises evidence‐based case management to actively engage offenders and ensure responsive, targeted interventions that assist in reducing their risk of reoffending. Case Managers / Court Assessment & Prosecutions Officers support offenders to successfully complete court orders while balancing risks to community safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advice and recommendations to the court for individual interventions to maximise offender responsiveness.
* Provide timely, well‐organised and evidence‐based advice to stakeholders (including the judiciary) regarding an offender's risk to community safety and capacity to undertake a court order.
* Undertake effective assessments of risk to community safety and capacity to undertake a court order through evaluation of factors relating to offending behaviour; provide recommendations to the court for interventions to address this behaviour.
About You
* Demonstrated understanding or practice of effective case management and proactive risk management with complex individuals.
* Experience or knowledge of court processes, prosecutions or related areas.
* Demonstrated understanding or practice of modelling pro‐social behaviours and ability to motivate and influence individuals being case‐managed.
