This internship is based at a prestigious resort located in a scenic coastal region of South Australia. The resort offers world-class accommodation, fine dining, and exceptional guest services, making it a sought-after destination for travellers. With a focus on providing outstanding hospitality experiences, the resort features a restaurant, bar, event spaces, and leisure facilities, including an award-winning golf course.
Training provided & learning outcomes to be achieved
Interns will gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, including front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, and event operations. Training will include:
* Guest Services: Handling check-ins and check-outs, assisting with reservations, and responding to customer enquiries.
* Food & Beverage Operations: Supporting restaurant and bar service, taking orders, serving guests, and learning about hospitality standards.
* Housekeeping & Room Management: Understanding room preparation, cleanliness standards, and quality control.
* Event Coordination: Assisting with the setup and execution of weddings, conferences, and special events.
* Resort Administration: Learning about operational logistics, inventory management, and back-of-house procedures.
By the end of the internship, participants will have developed strong customer service skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a team within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
