We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Control & Validation Manager to lead our QC operations, validation programs, and analytical laboratory testing activities within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
This is a rare opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation during an exciting phase of development to play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, consistency, and compliance of medicinal cannabis products supplied to both domestic and international markets.
In this role, you will:
* Lead day-to-day Quality Control operations
* Oversee laboratory analytical testing programs including HPLC, GC-MS, PCR, moisture analysis.
* Manage environmental program and monitoring
* Manage validation activities including IQ, OQ, PQ, cleaning validation, process validation, and computer systems validation
* Support GMP, TGA, PIC/S, EU-GMP and GACP compliance requirements
* Coordinate outsourced testing with accredited laboratories and review Certificates of Analysis
* Drive audit readiness, data integrity, documentation compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Work closely with Quality, Production, Regulatory, and Operations teams to support product release and site readiness
What we're looking for:
* Experience within GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, medicinal cannabis, biotechnology, or similar manufacturing environments
* Strong technical knowledge of Quality Control systems, validation, and analytical testing methods
* Familiarity with TGA, PIC/S GMP, EU-GMP and GACP requirements
* Experience managing laboratory equipment, calibration programs, and compliance documentation
* A proactive and hands‐on leader who enjoys building systems, improving processes, and supporting operational growth
