About the Role
FTI Consulting is looking for a talented professional at the Consultant, Senior Consultant or Manager level (internal title is Director) to join our valuations and forensics teams in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The role focuses on delivering valuation services for a wide range of assets including businesses, intangible assets, financial instruments, brands, patents, contracts and infrastructure assets. What You’ll Do
Execute a wide range of valuation engagements for strategy, transactions, regulatory, tax compliance, financial reporting, and litigation purposes. Support day‑to‑day engagement execution, including interactions with clients, financiers, auditors, tax advisors and legal advisers. Undertake company and industry analysis and conduct interviews with senior management of clients. Perform financial, ratio and comparable company analysis and valuations analysis of the assets listed above. Assist in drafting clear, concise written reports summarising valuation analysis. Assist with business development activities and developing/enhancing financial models and reporting templates. Contribute to FTI Consulting initiatives and team development activities. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines. 1 to 4 years of professional experience in business or intangible asset valuations, credit analysis, tax advisory or related fields. Strong understanding of, or interest in, valuations and corporate finance. Proficiency in written and spoken English and in writing reports. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and knowledge of accounting principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Adaptability in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple client matters concurrently and meet deadlines. Strong work ethic, integrity and high level of professionalism. Willingness to travel for work. Our Benefits

Minimum Pay: $88,000.00 Maximum Pay: $132,000.00. The compensation range reflects the potential base salary for this role and is inclusive of superannuation. Equal Opportunity Employment
