Base pay range: A$140,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who thrives in a design & construct environment and enjoys taking ownership of end-to-end project delivery.
The Role
- Lead mechanical services design on healthcare and commercial projects – from concept through to handover.
- Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and clients to develop practical, cost-effective, and buildable solutions.
- Oversee detailed design documentation, calculations, and plant selections.
- Carry out site inspections, attend client meetings, and ensure compliance with Australian standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and help shape the design culture within the business.
What You Bring
- Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with 7+ years in building services design.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical services within healthcare or large commercial projects.
- Experience working for a mechanical contractor or in a D&C; environment.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and engineering calculation software.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
