About the Opportunity
We are looking to fill a full‐time permanent customer service role across our Nimbin and Lismore branches. The role involves delivering retail banking and lending products through phone, email and in‐person contact, providing superior service and building lasting relationships with customers.
Responsibilities (Day in the Life of a Banking Advisor)
* Provide exceptional customer service.
* Open accounts and assist customers with their current accounts face‐to‐face.
* Have meaningful conversations to provide the best outcomes for customers, helping them achieve their financial goals.
* Be proactive in communicating with customers to set goals for aspirational financial targets.
* Stay connected with current and prospective customers via phone and email.
* Receive support and development from the team and manager, including an extensive 4‐week induction and a 6‐month probation period.
* Participate in ongoing coaching, including monthly catch‐ups with the manager.
Qualifications and Experience
* Preferred but not essential: background in banking or finance.
* Positive can‐do attitude and willingness to learn.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to hold genuine, meaningful conversations.
* Ability to link customer needs to the appropriate bank products and benefits.
