Our Client

Our client, ASF Audits, is a national leader in SMSF auditing who deliver high-quality, independent audit services to accounting firms and advisers across Australia. Known for their commitment to accuracy, integrity and exceptional client service, ASF Audits continues to invest in innovative technology that supports efficiency, compliance and industry-leading outcomes. As they enhance and modernise their core platforms, they are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to play a key role in shaping their technical capability and product evolution.

About the Role

This role blends hands‑on development with architectural leadership, acting as a critical link between business needs and technical delivery by designing, developing and optimising core systems that support ongoing growth. You will work closely with the internal ASF Audits team, external developers and take ownership of the platform’s quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities Include

* Lead the architecture, development and enhancement of the new audit management system, working to improve performance, usability and scalability.
* Design, develop and optimise core platform components using C#, .NET Core, JavaScript and modern architectural patterns to ensure quality, maintainability and alignment with existing design foundations.
* Drive workflow automation, modern features and a new client portal to improve auditor efficiency, repetitive task automation, risk flagging and overall customer experience.
* Partner closely with the CTO, Product Owner, internal developers and external consultants to influence technical direction, support production stability and uplift engineering capability in a fast‑paced environment.
* Establish coding standards, mentor staff and external developers to enhance strong performance, security and reliability while contributing to a collaborative, accountable team culture.

About You

* 8+ years of hands‑on software development with deep expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core, JavaScript) and modern software architecture patterns.
* Strong experience in solution architecture, platform design, SQL, data modelling, integrations, and Azure cloud services.
* Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding practices, and automated testing frameworks.
* Experience mentoring junior developers, coordinating external contributors and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to help in simplifying complexity for non‑technical stakeholders.
* Values‑driven, with a focus on quality, excellence, teamwork, openness and continuous improvement.
* Experience in RegTech, accounting or auditing systems and Azure architecture is advantageous.
