UGL’s Fuels and Energy business is seeking a site-based HSE Advisor to be stationed at APLNG. This role involves providing advice, assistance, guidance, and support to UGL and our clients team members on all safety, security, health, and environmenta l matters relevant to the site.
This role is ideally suited for candidates with prior experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in areas such as maintenance, projects, and shutdowns .
Key Responsibilities
o Promote HSE Culture, awareness and values
o Provide accurate, expert and technical advice on health and safety systems, standards; legislative requirements and risk management principals to all levels of personnel
o Support, Projects, Shutdown and Rate Reduction Activities, ensuring work conducted is aligned with the HSEMS
About You
o Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety preferred ( Cert IV minimum)
o Exposure across onshore oil & gas projects or high risk work environments
o Working knowledge of maintenance methodology, materials, tooling and equipment used in the oil and gas industry or other heavy industrial industry
o Strong working knowledge of high risk license activities and associated hazards
o Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
