Overview
We're looking for an experienced Technical Cyber Business Analyst to support a major cyber security uplift program within a large, complex enterprise environment.

This role will suit a senior BA with strong cyber security exposure, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to translate business needs into practical cyber and technology outcomes.
You'll work across strategic and operational cyber initiatives, helping bridge business requirements with technical solutions across areas such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, cyber risk and maturity uplift.
Role
As the Technical Cyber Business Analyst, you will:
* Gather, analyse and document business, technical and infrastructure requirements.
* Work with cyber, technology and business stakeholders to define current and future state processes.
* Develop clear As-Is and To-Be process models.
* Support the transition of project outcomes into business operations.
* Analyse business processes, systems, technical functions and data from multiple sources.
* Provide insights, recommendations and options to improve cyber maturity and reduce risk.
* Facilitate workshops and consultations with process owners, SMEs and technical teams.
* Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications / About you
* 5+ years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally within cyber security, government, regulatory or large enterprise environments.
* Experience supporting cyber security maturity uplift initiatives.
* Understanding of cyber risk, maturity frameworks and security operations.
* Exposure to platforms or domains such as SIEM, EDR and vulnerability management.
* Strong experience documenting business requirements, technical requirements and process models.
* Excellent communication, consultation, facilitation and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work with senior stakeholders, SMEs, process owners and technical teams.
* Strong skills in Visio or similar process mapping tools, plus the Microsoft Office suite.
* Ability to mentor or support other business analysts where required.
