What this job involves
This Centre Manager will look after the day-to-day property management of Floreat Forum and West Leederville Shopping Centre in accordance with duties and KPI’s identified with the Management Agreement.
You will take responsibility and lead by example a team in managing, leasing, marketing and operating the centres to the very highest of professional standards to maximise the net return to the Owner.
* Implementation of all responsibilities as specified in the Management Agreement.
* Preparation and analysis of income/expenditure budgets, business plans, monthly reports, outgoings recoveries, forecasts and audits in accordance with the owner’s critical dates. Communicate strategy and asset/business plans to the management team.
* If required, assist in preparation of Leasing Documentation/Disclosure Packages as per Owner’s requirements and in conjunction with the Leasing Agent.
* Maintaining the centres to the very highest of standards and minimising the liability risk exposure of the Owner and JLL.
* Regular site property inspections and completing Property Inspection reports. Follow up on any issues in a timely manner.
* Work with external consultants and implement any recommendations to improve retailer productivity and presentation.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with retailers to ensure that all opportunities are explored to improve productivity.
Qualifications
Desired experience and technical skills
Required
* Previous 5+ years retail property management experience is required with a thorough knowledge of all property related functions and the Retail Act.
* Real Estate & Business Sales Representative Registration (including Property Managers) within the State of Western Australia is required.
* Degree in Property, Business, Management or related discipline is desirable.
* Excellent reporting, analysing and Microsoft Office skills
